OPSWAT takes AppRemover out of beta

OPSWAT on Wednesday, has taken AppRemover out of beta and made a significant number of enhancements. The latest release includes:

  1. New GUI (graphical user interface) for more intuitive navigation and usability.
  2. Support for an additional 20+ applications based on requests made during the beta stage.
  3. Enumerate and remove WMI information - AppRemover now allows the user to remove stale WMI (windows security center) information that may prevent the installation of new AV products and confuse the user into feeling secure.
  4. AppRemover now removes installations made in a non-default location.

Bug Fixes:

  1. Improved cleaning in more locations.
  2. Improved registry cleaning.
