OPSWAT on Wednesday, has taken AppRemover out of beta and made a significant number of enhancements. The latest release includes:
- New GUI (graphical user interface) for more intuitive navigation and usability.
- Support for an additional 20+ applications based on requests made during the beta stage.
- Enumerate and remove WMI information - AppRemover now allows the user to remove stale WMI (windows security center) information that may prevent the installation of new AV products and confuse the user into feeling secure.
- AppRemover now removes installations made in a non-default location.
Bug Fixes:
- Improved cleaning in more locations.
- Improved registry cleaning.
